வி.ஐ.டி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் நிறுவனரும் வேந்தருமான டாக்டர் கோ.விஸ்வநாதன் ஐயா அவர்கள் ஆற்றிய சேவையைப் பாராட்டி அமெரிக்காவின் பிங்ஹாம்டன்  பல்கலைக்கழகம், அவருக்கு கவுரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம் வழங்கியது

இந்தியக் கல்வி வளர்ச்சியில் வி.ஐ.டி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் நிறுவனரும் வேந்தருமான டாக்டர் கோ.விஸ்வநாதன் ஐயா அவர்கள் ஆற்றிய சேவையைப் பாராட்டி அமெரிக்காவின் பிங்ஹாம்டன்  பல்கலைக்கழகம், அவருக்கு கவுரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம் வழங்கியது. அதற்கு பாராட்டுத் தெரிவிக்கும் வகையில் வேலூரில் நடைபெற்ற விழாவில் நானும் பங்கேற்றேன். கல்வித்துறையில் எனக்கு ஆசானாக விளங்கும் ஐயா அவர்கள் ஆற்றிய கல்விச்சேவை பல ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பட்டதாரிகளை உருவாக்கியது, உயர் கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை மக்களிடம் போதித்தது. இந்தியாவின் பல மூலைகளில் இருந்தும் இங்கு கல்வி பயில வந்த மாணவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றியது. இத்தகைய மகத்தான மனிதரின் பாராட்டு நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்றது எனக்கு மிகுந்த மனநிறைவை அளித்தது.

It was a pleasure witnessing the felicitation of Dr. G. Vishwanathan Ayya, the Founder Chancellor of VIT, who received an honorary doctorate from Binghamton University. Dr. Vishwanathan’s contributions to academia and higher education have evidently been significant, shaping generations and impacting the lives of students across the nation. Having held many positions in Central and State Governments, his passion to serve people was also very evident. It is notable that being such a busy man, his love towards farming never faded away and he is always proud to say that he is a farmer. Being part of such a ceremony was a memorable and humbling experience for me. It’s moments like these that remind us of the transformative power of education and the profound influence of visionary leaders like Dr. Vishwanathan.
